This short, powerful, humorous and somewhat gruesome play
based on an infamous murder, supposedly committed by one of Brisbane's
wealthiest citizens, was a highlight of the
Queensland Law Society's bus tour crime sites in the Brisbane
area in May 2003.
The story is told very effectively, using the device
of a modern day reporter (Katy), "interviewing" eye witnesses from the
period. These witnesses prove to be very unreliable, contradicting
themselves and each other, which serves to highlight the rumours and
innuendo from which the "mystery" arose.
