Villanova Players is a community theatre group in Morningside.
Although previously a repertory company, ie casting from existing members, Villanova Players is pleased to announce we have opened our doors, and our auditions, to all comers.
If you'd like to get involved, please get in touch, or come along to a meeting or an audition.
Established in 1948, we perform four mainhouse shows a year, at least one production by our youth ensemble VPs Start Ups and at least one intermezzo or development production.
We produce plays of all varieties from classics to contemporary, and have also been known to do the occasional musical.
Prospective members are very welcome to attend our monthly meetings.
These consist of a formal members meeting, followed by up to an hour of entertainment provided by the members. These performances are used to showcase our members' abilities and familiarise members of the company with their skills.
Members actively participate in the running of the group and we encourage actors to get involved behind the scenes and support their fellow thespians when they're not on the stage.

Meetings are generally held on a Wednesday at 7.30pm at the Ron Hurley Theatre, Seven Hills Hub,
28 Tallowwood St, Seven Hills.
