With a love for 'commiting to the bit', it was only natural that Alyssa Byrne became an actor. Memorable credits include Chekhov’s ‘Three Sisters’ with a thick Russian accent while at drama school, and nearly getting hypothermia on a film set (making sacrifices for your art shouldn't include your fingers). Hailing from Cairns with Italian heritage, she loves banter, ocean swims, running, linguistics and dislikes writing bios.

Despite her seven years of DND experience, Genevieve is a remarkedly unremarkably individual. She hasn’t done anything cool or interesting like been to space or graduated from study.  She is however, secretly Batman. Alfred drives her around in the Batmobile. That’s why she doesn’t have her license yet. Previous favourite roles include Mary in Pride and Prejudice and Anya in A Cherry Orchard.

Laura Renee has recently discovered a deep passion for acting, embracing every opportunity to bring characters to life. Her commitment to the craft is evident in her performances, where she channels her enthusiasm into creating authentic and engaging portrayals. Eager to explore new roles and expand her artistic horizons, Laura is dedicated to refining her skills both on stage and behind the scenes, making each project a meaningful journey.

Erin Hall

Amber moved to Brisbane from Adelaide late 2024 and ‘She Kills Monsters’ with Villanova Players is her first show since and her first play ever. Back in Adelaide, Amber performed in many musicals such as Twisted (Aladdin Swing), Little Shop of Horrors (Seymour Swing) and Heathers: The Musical (Ram Sweeney). Switching from musicals to plays has been quite the surprising change for Amber but through this process, she has learnt a lot and is very proud of that.

What’s up gamers! Cristian [he/him] is a writer, actor, and sometimes twitch streamer (follow him @GRINDG0D) based in Meanjin. This will be the third production he’s been in, and he couldn’t be more excited to work with Director Brenna Corben and fellow cast member Sarah Esser again after their amazing work writing and directing I Hate To Tell You This in 2020. In both writing and performing, Cristian find himself drawn to works interrogating the human psyche and its ugliness. Shame and self-loathing are a must, happy endings optional, and of course, it’s gotta be funny!

JJ Jones

Sarah is a Brisbane based singer, actor and dancer. She began performing at the age of 4,

starting on the violin before moving to theatre. With a Bachelor of Theatre from the Central

Queensland Conservatorium of Music (CQCM), Sarah has been involved in the staging of 24

productions, taking on roles both onstage and off. 

Notable roles include Florence Vassy in “Chess: The Musical” (CQCM, 2020), Rosa Bud in “The Mystery of Edwin Drood” (CQCM, 2020), Princess in “Love’s Labour’s Lost” (Footlights Theatrical, 2023) Mira in “The Theory of Relativity” (Footlights Theatrical, 2024), Miriam Du’Maurier in “The Abadon Burlesque Show: My Bloody Valentine”, The M.I.R.I.A.M. in “HOTBOTS Burlesque” (both Abadon Productions, 2023) and April in “Company” (Phoenix Ensemble, 2024).

Darian Strachan, having graduated from the Queensland University of Technology with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Drama is exploring the space shared the stage and the fantastical. 

An avid DND player, Darian adores the power of a story, the potential of fantasy and the possibility of what can come from a team that truly cares.

I started in youth theatre when I was around 10 years old, even though I begged my mum to not make me go. We reached an agreement that I would only have to do it for a single term. As it turned out, I loved it so much I did it for 8 more years. In that time, I played many characters like Billy Bones in Treasure Island, Slugworth in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, as well as my fair share of classic ensemble characters like A Bird or A Flower. Now, after an extended hiatus from acting, a succu-bitch was the perfect way to dip my toe back into it. And despite my reputation for playing evil characters, I don’t go around bullying lesbians. I swear.
