Recently returned from an adventure in Canada, Louella is incredibly excited to be throwing themselves back into the theatre scene! A graduate from QUT’s Bachelor of Fine Arts (Drama), Louella is no stranger to the stage, let alone the VPs stage. They have been a part of numerous shows with VPs including: High Society (Tracy Samantha Lord), Steel Magnolias (Shelby Eatenton), and Much Ado About Nothing (Beatrice). Their other roles include: Caroline in Theory of Relativity, Cinderella in Disenchanted, Vocalist in Rock on and Classy Christmas 3, and Woman 1 in First Date: The Musical (all with Footlights Theatrical); Julia Bryer in Slow Burn (Brisbane Fringe Festival); Jack’s Mum in Into the Woods (RMT); Abigail Williams in the Crucible, and Louise in Gypsy (all with Beenleigh Theatre Group); and Amelia/Isabella in The Things We Do Behind the Scenes (Ad Astra).

Dominic’s most recent credit is playing an Apollo Trooper in "Nautilus"(AMC Networks) alongside Damian Garvey. Recent graduate of the 30 Week Showreel Course taught by Industry Professionals such as Tom McSweeney, David Newman, Timothy Ross, Darren Gilshenan and Gabrielle Rodgers. Other credits include Young Rock, True Spirit and Healthy Harold Hundred with Eva Milic. Dom has an extensive background in theatre in Brisbane and the Gold Coast, with professional credits as Captain Harris and Santa Claus at Movie World, Skye in The Dancing Queen Dining Experience, Franz Klineman in Rock of Ages, and Thomas Novachek in Venus in Fur, Adam in The Theory of Relativity, J Finch Fletchley in Puffs and Judas in Godspell. Recent community credits include Paul/Simon in Apologia and Mendel in Falsettos.

Dom is absolutely excited for this wonderful and perfect Bunbury as Algernon and he hopes you enjoy it as much as he does.

Kristina graduated from The Australian Performing Arts Conservatory in 2016. She has since immersed herself in theatre, scriptwriting, and short films, winning Best Screenplay in 2020 for Bleached, a short film that she co-wrote for the 48 Hour Film Project.

Some of her notable on-stage roles include Bianca in The Taming of the Shrew (Nash Theatre, 2017), one of the actors in Shakespeare Abridged (Ad Astra, 2018), Catherine Simms in The Foreigner (Nash Theatre, 2019), Myra Bruhl in Deathtrap (Nash Theatre, 2021), Kathryn Schaub in Radium Girls (Centenary Theatre, 2021), Belle in Disenchanted (Footlights Theatre, 2022), Abby in Now and Then (Centenary Theatre, 2022), Shelby in Steel Magnolias (St Luke's Theatre, 2023), Meredith in Five Women Wearing the Same Dress (Nash Theatre, 2023) and Louella Parsons in The Cat's Meow (Villanova Players, 2023).

Andrew became hooked on all things theatre when he first appeared on stage at the age of six and joined his first choir soon afterwards. In his 20s he sang, acted, directed and wrote for a highly successful Sydney drama group, and appeared in numerous plays, skits and musicals. Most recently, Andrew has appeared as Firmin in Ipswich Musical Theatre’s 2023 season of Phantom of the Opera and Villanova Players’ 2022 production of The Venetian Twins as the villain Pancrazio. Other recent performance highlights include roles in Forbidden Broadway, A Little Princess as Captain Crewe, VP’s Ladies in Black, Summer of the Seventeenth Doll as Roo, and IMTC’s 2017 production of Les Miserables as The Bishop of Digne.

Elizabeth (Liz) has been a VPs member for over 45 years! She has appeared in many productions with VPs, and other companies such as The Young TN Company, API Theatre and Arts Theatre over the years. Liz’s last “Wilde” experience was as the extremely chatty Lady Markby in An Ideal Husband [2021].
Like Lady Bracknell, Liz is a big fan of cucumber sandwiches..but with cream cheese!

Mary has been a VP member since her Junior Theatre days and has lost count of the number of plays she has acted in, directed or crewed for. At one time or another she has played all four of the female characters in “Earnest”, so was delighted to have the opportunity to reprise the role of Miss Prism. Her last appearance on our stage was as opera-mimer Cissie in “Quartet”.

As a recently diagnosed Coeliac, Afternoon Teas do not hold much joy for Mary, but she would settle for a cream and strawberry meringue.

Nicole began dance and singing lessons from the age of six, which led to several exciting professional opportunities through The Dance Works in her late teens and early twenties in Brisbane, interstate and even Disneyland, California as a featured dancer and soloist. After taking a break to pursue her academic career, she decided to revisit her first passion and has performed in shows such as Rock of Ages and American Idiot (Pannic Productions), Wizard Of Oz, Jasper Jones and most recently The Hunchback of Notre Dame (Beenleigh Theatre Group). She is humbled and thrilled to be a part of this Earnest production with such a talent cast!

Although not a huge tea drinker, if the occasion were to arise she is a fan of sharing some scones with jam and cream!

Danielle grew up going to community theatre with her family in Brisbane. This is her second community production and first with Villanova Players. We live in an age of ideals and Danielle ideal is a chicken ribbon chicken.
